About Sekina’s Realm
Sekina’s Realm is a trauma-informed wellness and education practice rooted in accessibility, integrity, and embodied care. The work blends yoga, writing, and community-centered offerings designed to support regulation, agency, and sustainable well-being.
Founded by Sekina Ward, a communications professional, yoga teacher, and first-generation college graduate, Sekina’s Realm was created to serve people navigating layered responsibility, transition, and growth — particularly Black women, caregivers, and those seeking grounded, intentional wellness beyond performance or urgency. At Sekina's Realm, all are welcome.
Sekina’s approach is shaped by both professional experience in human services and lived understanding of resilience, boundaries, and long-term healing. The work prioritizes small-group and private offerings, consent-based practices, and thoughtful pacing, creating spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, values, and inner authority.
In addition to yoga and wellness programming, Sekina’s Realm includes writing, educational resources, and future product offerings designed with sustainability and care in mind. A core commitment of the practice is accessibility — offering free resources alongside paid services to ensure that support and insight are not limited by circumstance.
